Champion Success

Your champion believes in your product. We give their institution reason to believe it too.

In healthcare, product-market fit means repeatable institutional adoption, and Pilot Purgatory is what stands between your champion's belief and the adoption decision.

SaaS has customer success. Healthcare never built it for champions.

SaaS figured it out. When closing the deal stopped being the hard part, they built an entire discipline for what came after. Clinical innovation is twenty years behind that realization.

Same shape, one step short. Healthcare has the start and the finish, and nothing to carry a champion between them.

Pilot Purgatory

You built the product. You found your champion. And then, somehow, nothing moved.

A promising innovation
Makes it to a first pilot
many never even start
Advances beyond that first use

Reaches patients

70% of healthcare technology pilots never convert. That is Pilot Purgatory. Every quarter in Pilot Purgatory is a quarter of runway spent proving nothing.

Asclepii, a JumpStart company, started where technologies stall.

In 2025 Asclepii had a cleared wound care product, a handful of clinicians who liked using it, and no way to make sense of what they were seeing: which findings mattered, what would count as evidence, or what the path to product-market fit looked like. In its co-founder's words, the company "loved the idea of real-world evidence" and "didn't know what it meant operationally."

A physician running an independent wound care practice in Colorado, serving patients most studies exclude, ran Poseidon under a Champion Success protocol: success defined before enrollment, outcomes pre-specified, every measurement chart-verified.

What that meant for the clinic

Visits moved from weekly to biweekly for multiple patients; visit frequency recorded as reduced at 4 of 5 survey points.

Patients discharged. In the coordinator's words at the November survey: "4 out of 6 of my patients using the hydrogel have completely healed and are now discharged."

Willingness to continue was unanimous across all 6 provider surveys, with confidence moving from select patients to broad use within two months.

In a population most studies exclude: 83% of wounds in high anatomic-risk locations, 83% of patients with comorbidities, documented non-adherence.

A multi-site wound care network in the Midwest was already trying Poseidon on a few patients, with no structure and no decision in sight. The first champion's chart-verified result gave the network's leadership something to decide on and showed where the product did its best work, so the network could be pointed at the patients where it would matter most. In May 2026, eleven months after the first champion enrolled her first patient, the network's leadership approved Poseidon across its sites, a decision that puts the product in front of hundreds of patients every month. This is the compounding effect of real-world evidence collected and reported in precisely the form the next champion needs to make a fast, evidence-based decision: each site's result gives the next provider the indication, patient selection criteria and treatment protocol under which the product performs, and gives its leadership a reason to commit at scale. That is product-market fit in healthcare: institutional adoption that repeats, site after site.

The champion's dilemma

Your champion cares about what you're solving. They want you to succeed.

They've seen good ideas come and go before, and rarely because the technology wasn't right. There is only so much one person can do, and that limit is what stops most innovations ever reaching patients.

It works for their patients
✕
belief alone
The whole institution adopts it

Most innovations are lost to the absence of a system around the person trying to prove them, not to the science.

The answer

Champion Success.

You have a champion who believes in your product. Turning that belief into their institution's decision is the slowest, hardest part of getting adopted, and it is the part most founders are left to do alone. That is the part we do, and the only part. We convert a willing champion into an adoption decision, one institution at a time, far more efficiently than you can alone.

A cleared product and a champion

Champion Success
→
Standard of care

The step no one ever built. This is it.

It starts with one champion. It ends with a standard of care. This is what sits in between.

What we ask

One clinical champion. We will help define what success looks like, support them in achieving it, establish what value the product creates in their real-world environment, validate the claims the evidence supports, and turn that learning into something the institution can act on and the next champion can start from.

What we guarantee

You come away with independent proof that your value is real, and a repeatable way to prove it again with every subsequent champion. Every project ends with a decision-ready conclusion: whether the pre-specified outcome was achieved, which claims the evidence supports, what remains uncertain, and what the next adoption decision should be. If the work we control has not produced that level of clarity, we keep working until it does.

It was almost like we were disconnected from the trial: giving space for outcomes to occur and following a rigorous methodology, as opposed to 'hey, try my product, what do you think?' Usually when it is done, it is done by a biostatistician paid for by a CRO, and that takes forever.

People can't listen to Dr. Kimball about how the product will work for them without some concern about bias. The whole concept was a third-party analysis that was not biased, that could actually look at the data.

You've got to have papers behind it or it has issues later. We're working with another company where we're not doing an official study, and they're just running into all sorts of problems. It has nothing to do with the product.

Our Promise

We build everything that turns a willing champion into a successful one.

In four stages, we build everything your champion needs to succeed: the clinical evidence that satisfies a peer, the financial case that moves a committee, and a documented success story that every champion who follows can build on.

Stage 01

The Diagnostic

We map where your evidence stands against the published landscape for your category: what's supportable, where the gaps are, and what your champion needs to see.

→  Claims map + gap analysis
Stage 02

The Impact Study

We design and run the study with your champion, not around them. A full picture of your technology's impact, in outcomes every stakeholder can stand behind.

→  Prospective impact study
Stage 03

The Evidence Package

The same findings, shaped for the three who decide. Your champion. Your administrator. Your committee. Each gets what they need to act.

→  Multi-stakeholder evidence package
Stage 04

The Champion Success Case

The first three stages become a blueprint your next champion picks up from day one. Your commercial conversations finally have something independent behind them. Each new site makes the next one easier.

→  Scalable champion blueprint

Get your innovation to the patients it was built for.
